LM-4B is a more powerful launch vehicle derived from LM-4A. It is mainly used to carry out solar-synchronous missions. It has an overall length of 47.977 meters, a maximum diameter of 3.35 meters and a lift-off thrust of 300 tons. The launch capability of LM-4B is 2.65 tons for 600 km polar orbit. Since its maiden flight in May 1999, its success rate has been 100%.
