LM-3B is a heavy lift liquid strapped-on  launch vehicle developed on the basis of LM-3A and LM-2E. LM-3B has the same core stage as LM-3A, with four liquid boosters strapped on the first stage. It has a length of 54.84 meters and a launch mass of 426 tons. It is mainly used to put heavyweight payload into geosynchronous transfer orbit (GTO) and other orbits. A LM-3B can put multiple small satellites into orbit during one flight. Its launch capability for GTO mission is 5.5 tons.
