On the morning of September 24, the first tripartite talk among China National Space Administration (CNSA), European Space Agency (ESA) and Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) was held in Beijing. The three parties reached consensus about matters on cooperation in deep space exploration and signed the meeting minutes. Dr. Ma Xingrui, Administrator of CNSA, presided over the meeting.
The three parties agreed to discuss the cooperation for mutual support in scientific research and mission operation in the field of Mars exploration so as to bring greater scientific rewards for the science community, and welcomed the participation of other interested space agencies. The three parties also agreed to explore the scientific cooperation in other deep space exploration targets of interest.

The three parties decided to strengthen their cooperation in the field of deep space exploration, build a mechanism for high-level talk to be held once every year, and establish a tripartite joint working group to draw up an action plan about cooperation in the field of deep space exploration including the Mars and submit it for further consideration and decision making before the tripartite talk of 2014.

Mr. Hu Yafeng, Vice Administrator of CNSA, Tian Yulong, Secretary General of CNSA, Li Benzheng, Director General of Lunar Exploration and Space Engineering Center under CNSA, and other related personnel attended the meeting.
