Administrator Ma Met with President of Israel Space Agency

On the afternoon of September 25, Dr. Ma Xingrui, Administrator of China National Space Administration (CNSA), met with Isaac Ben-Israel, President of Israel Space Agency. Both parties made communications and exchanges on the space cooperation between China and Israel.

Both parties introduced the development of their own space activities in recent years. Ma pointed out that the China-Israel space cooperation is still in the initial stage without any substantial progress, and both China and Israel take benefiting mankind as principle for developing space activities. He hoped that both parties can start with research on space science to gradually and practically develop space cooperation between the two countries.

Isaac expressed that he is looking forward to Ma’s participation in the 9th Ilan Ramon International Space Conference to be hosted by Israel in 2014, and Israel is willing to strengthen communications and exchanges with China and promote the space cooperation between the two countries.

Mr. Tian Yulong, Secretary General of CNSA, and Mr. Li Guoping, Vice Director General of the Department of System Engineering, CNSA, attended the meeting.
