On the afternoon of September 24, Mr. Hu Yafeng, Vice Administrator of China National Space Administration (CNSA), met with Mr. Johann-Dietrich Wörner, Chairman of the Executive Board of German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Beijing. The two parties held a friendly talk about China-Germany space cooperation.

Hu pointed out that space cooperation between China and Germany has a long history and CNSA always pays great attention to the space cooperation between the two countries. CNSA hopes, together with DLR,   to make use of their own advantages to expand areas of cooperation to enrich the strategic partnership of the two countries. CNSA positively encourages China’s space industry to cooperate with its German counterpart, and actively creates conditions and platforms to promote common development of the two countries’ space industries.

Mr. Wörner said that China’s space industry has made remarkable achievements in recent years and two parties have carried out fruitful cooperation in many areas. DLR is willing to continue to strengthen communications and promote the development of the two countries’ space industries based on the existing cooperation.

Related personnel from the Department of System Engineering of CNSA attended the meeting.
