On the morning of 23 September, Dr. Ma Xingrui, Administrator of China National Space Administration (CNSA) attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of the Exhibition Hall of the 64th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) held in China National Convention Center in Beijing. After the ceremony, Ma also visited the exhibition booths of Thailand, Germany and the Netherlands as well as China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), and Major Special Program Office of High-resolution Earth Observation System, etc.

Kiyoshi Higuchi, the President of International Astronautical Federation (IAF), Yin Hejun, Vice President of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Xu Dazhe, Chairman of CASC, and Gao Hongwei, Chairman of CASIC also attended the opening ceremony and visited the exhibition together with Ma.
