On September 21, as the Chairman of the Nominating Committee of International Academy of Astronautics (IAA), Dr. Ma Xingrui, Administrator of China National Space Administration (CNSA), Participated in the IAA Board of Trustees meeting and made the 2013 IAA Nominating Committee Report, and discussed the related issues with members of the Nominating Committee.

Founded in 1960, IAA dedicates itself to fostering the development of astronautics for peaceful purposes, recognizing individuals who have distinguished themselves in a branch of science or technology related to astronautics, and promoting international space exchanges and cooperation. IAA Studies Center in China was established in Beijing in 2010.
