On July 4th, Dr. MA Xingrui, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology(MIIT), as well as Administrator of China National Space Administration (CNSA), met Thai Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, Chaiyan Peungkiatpairote in Beijing. Both parties expressed their aspiration for joint exploration and peaceful uses of outer space for the benefit of the two peoples and reached a consensus for strengthening space cooperation in the future.

Dr. Ma stressed that CNSA, as china’s competent authority for international space cooperation, hopes to strengthen contact and enhance understanding with Thai’s competent authority for space sector and jointly promote bilateral cooperation in the field of space.

TIAN Yulong, Secretary General of the Secretariat of Coordination Committee for International Cooperation of CNSA, and Zhan Chunli, Director General of the Department of Foreign Affairs of CNSA attended the meeting.
