Dr. Sun Laiyan, Administrator of CNSA met with Volker Liebig, Earth Observation Director of the European Space Agency in Beijing on 26 October 2009. Dr. Sun expressed gratitude to ESA for giving telemetry support to China’s Chang’e-1 mission. Mr. Liebig introduced ESA’s latest programs on earth observation. The two sides agreed to continue the sharing of Chang’e-1’s data and will compare data analysis results.
