Preparations for the Chang’E-5 lunar research samples have now been completed. Relevant information is hereby released online, and international loan applications are formally opened.

Applicants may either log on to the official website of the China National Space Administration (CNSA) (https://www.cnsa.gov.cn/english/index.html) to access details, or log directly into the Lunar Sample Release System (http://124.17.81.212:8081/moondataEng). Please follow the operational guidelines to submit the required application materials and finalize the application.

The deadline for this round of applications is 24:00 on 30 November 2025 (Beijing Time), by which time, the Lunar Sample Release System will be closed and will no longer accept applications.
