After the Chang'e-6 probe collected samples from the moon's far side, a Chinese national flag carried by the lander was unfurled for the first time on the far side of the moon.

This morning at 7:38 am, the ascender of Chang'e-6 lifted off from the moon's far side and successfully entered orbit around the moon.

Intelligent sampling is a crucial component of this mission. The probe withstood the high temperatures on the lunar far side, collecting moon samples.

The Chang'e-6 team at ground control sent messages on social media about its successful sampling. The mission has captured global media attention as it is the first mission to collect soil samples from the far side of the moon. Overseas netizens show their support with many likes and comments.
