Jin Zhuanglong, vice administrator of China National Space Administration awards graduate certificates to Mongolian participants.
On the afternoon of May 13th ,2005, the Secretariat of Asia-Pacific Multilateral Cooperation in Space Technology and Applications held the Closing Ceremony of Training Course on Earth Observation Ground System Technology and Applications with the participation of Dr. Jin Zhuanglong, vice administrator of China National Space Administration, Prof. Cao Jianlin, vice president of Chinese Academy of Sciences& President of Academy of Opto-Electronics, Prof. Li Chuanrong, vice president of Academy of Opto-Electronics and some professors.
The Training Course provided the participants who were from Mongolia with basic training in ground system technology of space engineering and remote sensing applications as well. In the meanwhile, the participants were arranged to visit Miyun Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station, China Space City and China Center for Resource Satellite Data and Applications(CRESDA). After the training course, they became familiar with both the theoretical aspects and practical uses of ground system technology of space engineering. Dr. Jin Zhuanglong in his speech hoped that the Mongolian participants could use all the knowledge and technology which they had learnt to help the advancement of the Mongolian space technology and further expected to strengthen the China and Mongolian Cooperation in space.
