[News from CNSA] On December 2, Luan Enjie, administrator of China National Space Administration met with GOMEZ, director general of Center for the Development of Industrial Technology of Spain  and the member of board of directors of European Space Agency(ESA), together with Spain science and technology delegation.

Mr. GOMEZ congratulated on China's successful launch of manned spaceflight and introduced Spain's space program in the coming years. He focused on Spain's participation in ESA's Galileo Program. Mr. GOMEZ said that Spain's space program was just started and he hoped to cooperate with China.

Mr. Luan introduced to the guests China's participation in ESA's  Galileo and the double-star plan(DSP). He also briefed China's space development.

The two parties agreed unanimously that the space technology plays a very important role in promoting national economy development and people's living standard, and that the two parties should carry out cooperation with keeping their respective traditions and mutual benefit.

Mr. GOMEZ invited Luan Enjie to visit Spain at convenience for the further discussion on the probability of cooperation. Mr. Luan accepted his invitation happily. (by Sun Qing  photo Li Qian)
