[From CNSA] On Oct 10, 2003, Guo Baozhu, Vice Administrator of CNSA Met with Gordon G. Shepherd and Brain Solhein, Professors from York University of Canada, in Beijing.
Gordon G. Shepherd and Brain Solhein introduced to Mr. Guo Canadian universities' activities in space, including relations between Canadian universities and space administration departments and industrial departments on engineering project, and procedure of administration, examination and ratification for international cooperative project in space in Canada. They also briefly introduced their research of vertical distribution of wind in atmosphere, trace air, and principle and equipment of survey of water vapor by interferomefer.
After exchange ideas about the above matters, Mr. Guo expressed his willingness to welcome Canadian experts to exchange and cooperate with end users and research institutes in China. (Gao Jun)
