LM-2E was a 2-stage launch vehicle with 4 strap-on boosters on the first stage developed on the basis of LM-2C. It was 49.68 meters long and 3.35 meters in diameter. Each liquid booster was 15.4 meters long and 2.25 meters in diameter. The core stage had a maximum diameter of 4.2 m. LM-2E had a lift-off mass of 461t and a lift-off thrust of 600t. It could put 8.8t to 9.9t payloads into LEO orbits. The LM-2E launch vehicle has been placed out of commission.
