The Small Satellite Constellation for Environment and Disaster Monitoring will be deployed in two phases. During the first phase, the constellation will realize all-time and all-weather Earth observation, rapidly and accurately acquire the disaster and environment information, and improve the comprehensive disaster reduction and environment protection capability. During the second phase, it will conduct the dynamic disaster and environment monitoring for China or even the whole world.
