A spaces Cooperation Framework Signed by China and Pakistan

On April 17, 2007,administrator of National Space Administration, Mr. Sun Laiyan, and chairman of Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission, Raza Hussein, signed a “Framework Agreement on Deepening Aerospace Scientific and Technological Cooperation between National Space Administration of China and Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission of Pakistan”, under the witness of the premiers from both countries.

Both sides are expected to make cooperation on communication satellites, etc, according to this Agreement. It’s agreed that both sides will participate actively in the projects of APSCO, such as: satellite, application and training, with its aim of boosting the space cooperation in Asia and Pacific region. This Agreement will play an active role in further deepening mutual cooperation on aerospace, and also boosting Sino-Pakistan strategic partnership.
